About this course
Overview
A plan that cannot be reconciled against what was actually mined is a forecast, not a plan. Covering open-cast and underground, you work through strategic and tactical planning, sequencing and scheduling, and the reconciliation discipline that keeps the whole thing honest.
What you will be able to do
Learning outcomes
- Produce a phased mine plan
- Sequence mining to constraints
- Schedule production against equipment capacity
- Incorporate grade and dilution into plans
- Run plan-to-actual reconciliation
